Migrating from Mikro to Birasyo
The most common question when leaving Mikro is accountant access. Birasyo includes a free seat and a dedicated panel for your CPA, so your ledger workflow is not interrupted.
If any of this sounds familiar
- No single view across multiple companies or branches
- Remote desktop needed for access outside the office
- Manual reconciliation between stock and the ledger
- Marketplace and e-commerce orders keyed in by hand
- Backup responsibility sitting with your team
What changes, what does not
This compares architecture, not vendors. The point is to show which setup fits you — not to talk anyone down.

Modules that matter most here
How the five days run
- Day 1
Data extraction
Accounts, stock, chart of accounts and open balances are exported from your current system. Your production environment is not touched.
- Day 2
Mapping and cleanup
Fields are mapped to the Birasyo schema; duplicates and empty records are reported. You decide what gets migrated.
- Day 3
Test migration
Data is loaded into a test tenant. Balances and stock quantities are reconciled line by line against your current system.
- Day 4
Validation and training
Your team works in the test tenant with their own data. Any discrepancy is fixed the same day.
- Day 5
Go-live
A cut-off date is agreed, closing balances are migrated and the live tenant opens. Your old system stays available read-only.
Frequently asked questions
Our accountant is used to Mikro — is switching a problem?+
Your accountant gets a dedicated panel and a free seat, and can run ledger and filing work from there. Standard-format exports are also available.
We run several companies — do they all migrate?+
Yes. Each company is defined separately and you switch between them in one session. Consolidated reporting is available.
What happens to prior-year data?+
You can migrate as many prior years as you want. The common choice is open balances plus two years of movement, but full history is possible.
Is there a risk of data loss?+
Migration runs into a test tenant first and balances are reconciled line by line against your current system. Go-live only happens once the difference is zero.
