Migrating from Logo to Birasyo
Moving from Logo Tiger, Go or Netsis to a cloud ERP does not mean losing your data. Balances, stock cards and historical invoices come with you.
If any of this sounds familiar
- Server maintenance, backups and version upgrades consume IT time
- Remote and field access needs extra setup
- Every new branch adds hardware and licence cost
- e-Transformation updates are handled through a separate integrator
- Reporting means exporting to Excel and merging by hand
What changes, what does not
This compares architecture, not vendors. The point is to show which setup fits you — not to talk anyone down.
| Dimension | Logo | Birasyo |
|---|---|---|
| Deployment | Your own server or hosted | Cloud — Microsoft Azure Europe |
| Upgrades | Scheduled, coordinated with a partner | Automatic, no downtime |
| Access | Office network or VPN/remote desktop | Browser — anywhere |
| New branch | Extra hardware and licences | Add users |
| e-Transformation | Separate integrator contract | Included |
| Support | Partner ecosystem — wide and local | Direct from the vendor |
What comes with you?
- Customer and supplier accounts with open balances
- Stock cards, units and barcode definitions
- Historical invoice and dispatch records
- Chart of accounts and journal entries
- Employee records and HR master data
Modules that matter most here
How the five days run
- Day 1
Data extraction
Accounts, stock, chart of accounts and open balances are exported from your current system. Your production environment is not touched.
- Day 2
Mapping and cleanup
Fields are mapped to the Birasyo schema; duplicates and empty records are reported. You decide what gets migrated.
- Day 3
Test migration
Data is loaded into a test tenant. Balances and stock quantities are reconciled line by line against your current system.
- Day 4
Validation and training
Your team works in the test tenant with their own data. Any discrepancy is fixed the same day.
- Day 5
Go-live
A cut-off date is agreed, closing balances are migrated and the live tenant opens. Your old system stays available read-only.
Frequently asked questions
Does all of our Logo history migrate?+
Accounts, open balances, stock cards, chart of accounts and historical invoices migrate. You choose how many years to bring across; all of it can come.
Will we have downtime?+
No. Migration runs in a test tenant while you keep working in Logo. You only switch on the agreed cut-off date.
What happens to our Logo licence?+
That is your call. Most companies keep the old system read-only for a period so historical lookups stay available.
Are we giving up partner support?+
The support model changes: you get support directly from the vendor instead of through a reseller. If you need customisation, we scope it before migration.
We use the manufacturing module — does that migrate?+
Bills of material, work orders and routings can migrate. Manufacturing setups are company-specific, so this is scoped separately in the discovery call.
