Sustainability & Carbon Management
Measure, reduce and report your carbon footprint for EU CBAM, TSRS and ESG disclosures.
Manufacturers exporting to the EU face mandatory Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) reporting from 2026; large Turkish corporates face TSRS (Türkiye Sustainability Reporting Standards) phased in from 2024-2026. Birasyo Sustainability calculates Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions per the GHG Protocol, builds product-level carbon footprints, tracks targets and produces audit-ready disclosures.
What you'll gain
- Eliminate CBAM compliance risk for EU-bound manufacturers
- Prepare for TSRS before it becomes mandatory for your tier
- Lift your ESG score — improve investor and bank financing terms
- Forecast carbon-tax cost exposure
- Customer-tender ready emissions disclosure (e.g. automotive supply chain)

Frequently asked
What is CBAM and how does it affect me?+
From January 2026 the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism requires all exporters of iron-steel, aluminium, cement, fertiliser, hydrogen and electricity to declare embedded emissions per product and pay carbon levies if needed. Birasyo derives product carbon footprints from your BOM + production + energy data and produces the official CBAM template.
Who must comply with TSRS?+
KGK (the Turkish public oversight body) phased TSRS S1 and S2 in over 2024-2026. 2024: BIST 30; 2025: assets >500M TL or revenue >1Bn TL; 2026: broader scope. Early data preparation is essential — you cannot file without baseline data.
Will my emissions calculations pass an auditor?+
Birasyo follows the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard and ISO 14064-1 methodology. Calculation formulas and emission factor sources are traceable line-by-line in formats that Big Four auditors recognise. Independent verification is performed by your external auditor; we provide the underlying infrastructure.
I'm a service or trading company, not a manufacturer — does this apply?+
Yes. Services typically focus on Scope 2 (office electricity) and Scope 3 (business travel, purchased goods, waste). Trading companies report embedded carbon of goods sold (Scope 3 Category 11). The module configures to any sector.
